Namaste!

I am Rajan Adhikari

My photography stories begin with

I was born in Janakpur Dham and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. Currently roaming around London as a photographer.

When I was at the school level, I loved doing drawings and watercolour paintings, not a great artist but sometimes drew portraits of Singers, Celebrities, Bollywood Actors and Actresses. I left my drawings to practice behind once left the school. Later days had an opportunity to use a 35mm SLR Camera, Point & Shoot in my early stages as a hobby.

Beginning of 2013, bought a Nikon D3100 entry-level DSLR camera exclusively for family photo purpose only. I was looking for enhancing quality in portrait photos and ended up buying a Nikon Macro 105mm lens after a lot of tutorials from YouTube, Websites, Magazines. From that moment on, photography became my passion.

Days are passing by with family, One day I received a surprising Birthday Gift Nikon D810, which was given to me by my lovely wife afterwards, my photography took off in a high direction. This little black magic box allows me to hide behind it yet focus through it to record that magical moment, leading me on, compelling me to grab the image and capture the next one.

Still learning about photography skills and techniques, involvement in local Photographic Society, Exhibitions and Selling Prints are my ongoing engagements in the photographic workflow.  Fascinated with light, reflection, colour, textured and always ready to improvement in the quality of finish artwork for you to see.

Nowadays, I am very competitive, engaging and strongly in nature photography, I am looking forward to welcoming you in my photography journey together with love and passion by an Evolving Photographer

Rajan Adhikari.

AN EVOLVING PHOTOGRAPHER

My intention is to communicate visually between you and me through my pictures. The disposal I have to go out in Nature and record a moment in time, whilst standing still, is exhilarating. Photography changed my perspective of viewing what I was seeing and transformed my life greatly. It has enabled me to show others what I see differently, constantly looking at a different angle, being creative but true to nature, promoting the industry, thrilling people, and … always learning!
