I see London as an artistic, mythical and modern city where you find Tate Modern, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Millennium Bridge coming together – art, religion, history and modernism. South of the river Thames is Tate Modern, which holds one of the largest collections of contemporary art in the world. On the North side is the famous landmark, St Paul’s Cathedral which has dominated London’s skyline for centuries and in between lies the Millennium bridge, built using ‘lateral suspension’, an engineering innovation allowing suspension bridges to be built without tall supporting columns. The bridge is the connection between Modern Tate and the Cathedral with fascinating views across London.
